Facilities Services Information Technology is comprised of Computer Support, Network and Systems Administration, Application Management, and Programming Services.
Computer Support provides comprehensive desktop support for the divisions of Facilities Services and Human Resources. Computer Support maintains over 800 workstations, manages desktop deployments and the computer lottery, and coordinates with CIT.
Network and Systems Administration (NSA) provides network services, server management, application and system support, and security for the divisions of Facilities Services and Human Resources. NSA supports over 80 physical and virtual servers and numerous systems and applications.
Application Management supports the use of SharePoint and other specialized application needs.
Programming Services' main focus is the development and maintenance of specialized software systems that support the operations of the division of Facilities Services. Many of these systems integrate with each other or external systems such as APPS, Accounting, TMA, Registrar, and Staff Directory, to name a few.
